Crossing the region of Umbria we reach Assisi.Visit the Church of Santa Chiara where St. Francis was born. Walking through the narrow streets we reach Piazza del Comune with the Palazzo dei Priori, The Palazzo del Popolo and the Temple of Minerva. Continue to the Basilica of St. Francis with masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. After lunch in a local restaurant, continue by bus to the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, place where St. Francis lived and died, with visit to the Porziuncola Chapel. Proceed to Perugia, the famous art city knowned for his University. Stop in Piazza 4 November, heart of the historical center and free time at leisure. At approx. 5.00 p.m. departure to Roma with arrival at about 7.30 p.m. Return to hotels or neares point.
