We will start with an introduction of the history and origins of Venice, and a visit to the St. Mark's Church from the year 832 a.C., built to protect the body of evangelist St. Mark brought to Venice from Alessandria. From the Doge's Palace, where the Doge lived, we will cross the Bridge of Sighs, built in the year 1600, to arrive to the Prisons Palace.
At the end of the tour you can visit the artistic glass factory in Murano Island to admire the creation masterpieces (optional visit)..
Note: clients can't visit the Basilica on Sundays.
For the visit into the Basilica suitable dresses are kindly requested. For security reasons, clients can't enter with bags. Visits are not possible during masses..
